Doctor Sherab invites You for a two-week pilgrimage to his homeland, the sacred land of Guru Rinpoche. Our journey will be primarily aimed at paying a heart-felt homage to Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava, the second Buddha of our time. It will lead us to the three most sacred Guru Rinpoche’s places of Bhutan – first to Beyul Langdrak in Wangdue, a hidden sacred land of Guru Rinpoche where he concealed 60 terma treasures; then to Kurjey Lhakhang in Bumthang, where the body imprint of Guru Rinpoche brings liberation upon seeing (Tib. mthong grol); and finally to Taktsang in Paro, a sacred place of Guru Rinpoche’s enlightened mind, where he manifested himself in a wrathful form of Dorje Drolo, concealed great treasures and wrote down their prophecies.
